They'll be back again someday, just in a different form. Turbo charged, 200 HP Chevy Volt!!! Lol.
Be thankful that we already have our's in our garages. I can't afford a new Vette/Camaro/Mustang anyways

Well, the Saturn's and the Hummers can go. And, with any luck... things will get rolling again for our favorite American past time.

I thought that video was gonna be about how the government is banning all previously built and owned muscle cars from driving on the roads. Kinda like how they banned the sale of youth motorcycles 'cuz of lead in the paint or frame or whatever.
That 30th T/A and that '79 T/A were real nice, though.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
Everybody loves a muscle car. They admit to themselves when they see 'em. Classic, or modern, Mopar or GM. The muscle car will NEVER die.

well that one fella there was dead on. detroit got involved way too deep in the truck segment and then when the bottom started falling out of it they thought they could save it by putting more trucks out there instead of more cars and less trucks. they could...and they refused to adapt. it's their own fault that they are screwed.

We'll the muscle car is pretty much fading out as far as production but muscle cars will never be like they were in the late 60s and throughout the 70s. People will always love and own those cars so they themselves will never die.
Our 4th gens are the same way but they just never seem to get the same respect from the regular crowd. People in the know will always have respect for them and we always will so thats all that matters.
Oh and dont forget the people who will find out due to a cam and cutouts

Damn, I just posted this up in the WS6 forum because I liked how they bragged about the Trans Am (2nd Gen specifically, although that really wasn't a "muscle" car) throughout the report.
GM did sell quite a few of those 2nd Gen TA's and Camaros. There just wasn't any real foreign competition back then.

one good way to look at it is look what we got out of the last muscle car fadeout.....the 87 grand national and after a few years BAM more and more muscle cars started coming back out with more power and better gas mileage.......this might actually be a good thing and after a few years of green econo cars maybe we can have an even stronger production muscle car......i try to look on the bright side

1st Gen Camaro's & Firebirds are F-body's, and I guess I've never heard those called a pony car.
Who here would call a '69 RS/SS 396 Camaro a pony car? I certainly wouldn't - I'd call it a muscle car.
I'd go along with that.
