Buying a refurb phone?

Contract is up with AT&T so it is time to renew it and get a new phone. Just curious has anyone purchased a refurb phone? My dad got one about a year ago from a different carrier and beside the word refurb stamped on the back it looks exactly like a new phone. Seems they replaced the screen and everything. I'm just curious does AT&T follow the same policy or will I basically get used phone?

Im about to resign and im almost 100 percent sure they will give you a new one not a used one...

If your up for and upgrade you dont pay the full retail of the new phone and then they will try to keep you.

They will do almost anything to keep you if you kept up on payments..

My last one was a refurb. Never had a problem with it, looked brand new when I got it.

Ive had several refurbs with verizon. Ive had to use the insurance a couple of times and thats what Ive gotten with no problems. Glad I stopped drinking. I used to get drunk and forget them on the table or lose them in the club.
