    Burning alive

    Hey guys,
Not sure if this is on the news in your area but I live in the Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Brea area of So Cal and we’re having had horrible fires. My parents, Grandparents, Uncle, and GF parents had to be evacuated. A lot of them are staying at my place right now. (It's no big deal since we're Spanish; we can stack up like Lego’s 15 people deep in a single bedroom apartment) Yorba Linda area is up on a hill side and the water pump station burnt down (good figure) and the fire fighters could not help out. It was sickening to watch as neighbors homes crumbled. Their having to boil water before drinking because the water and air quality is so bad right now. One neighbor has a 20 year and 7 year old daughters but both parents were out of town. Not sure if they got to save anything. My folks were set but many families were unprepared. This thread is really more a reminder to have an escape plan and a back up to that. Stay smart you guys, don’t relay on anyone else to do it for you.

The right next to my Uncle's burnt down

This is my 13 year old cousin, the fire burnt right up to their back fence

It's a scary thing. We were evacuated last year. So, I always keep certain things ready to go now.

I hope no one else loses their homes and that they get these fires contained soon!!

Best of luck to all of you!

But seriously thats really sad to hear. I hope everyone can stay safe and hope the fire dosnt come near their homes. I cant even begin to imagine being in that situation. Its freezing outside here, makes me want to stay in.

Wow thats crazy how it burned down the one but not your Uncles place.

Those cars remind me of the streets of Baghdad.
