"Buffatrina"

Last thursday, the 12th, I was on my way to football practice when it started snowing. Light snowing, nothing terrible at first. But then it got heavier after maybe 20 minutes, and we only practiced for about 20 more before going inside. Nothing bad, I thought. Just kinda shitty that we get snow on october the freaking 12th. That's buffalo for ya, I thought....

Well, my friday the 13th, I stayed home from school. Not because of the whole ooooooo, friday the 13th thing.

We got pounded with more than 2 feet of snow in the buffalo area. I just got power back after almost 3 days without it. Me and my friends are calling it "Buffatrina", because it looks like a warzone. Heavy snow, lightning, hail, and all kindsa shit crushed trees, flooded creeks, and now we're all fucked. It's a shitfest over here. Don't think "ooo, its just snow and a little cold" because it isnt. It's devastation. Barely fall, and we get crushed. 3 fatalities already, maybe more. One guy was killed when a tree fell on him, and his WIFE watched it happen. It's total devastation, here. Most schools and businesses have closed for the ENTIRE WEEK, and we dont know when everything is going to be cleaned up. Fucking FEMA's here, already. It's terrible. Very, very sad.

I never thought we'd get a natural disaster here in Buffalo, but we sure as hell did. Only way I can describe it is a warzone. Porches collapsed, trees felled. Terrible, and so sad how many families are in trouble. So sad.
