Now, I'll laugh, but I own a fucking Springer.

That was funny. And I really did consider a Springer before buying our recently departed Fatboy.

what was false? The poor personal hygene doesn't apply around here, it's all dentists and business men all decked out in tassles and studs with a huge ass harley for their first bike.

I don't follow the 'news' of the motorcompany, but what's the story behind them dropping buell?

Still not following, but 'money' is always the root.
Aren't very many buells out there, 'least not around here.

i'm not going to go thru every dig from the video, but for example the '50s technology referenced about the springer front end. you don't have to buy a springer if you don't want to, in fact it only exists in the product line because some people want it. and reliability issues? what reliability issues would that be? maybe that guy rides an amf harley.
and yes, i call the buell a crotchrocket because it is [was] a high end 'race bike for the street' type of machine. it just happened to be made in the usa with a sportster-based power plant.
i don't know why they're pissed at harley, they should be pissed at eric buell for selling the company to them in the first place. or did they buy controlling stock and then took it over? i don't remember exactly, but anyway, they didn't sell by the boatload like the jap crotchrockets, and with the sales slump across the board it was sacrificed by the company. it could be that they thought younger riders were lured away from sportsters and if they were buying buell instead of japs that they could get them on the newer more sport oriented sportsters if the buell went away.
