    Federline seeks spousal support from Britney

    Kevin Federline also wants the sole custody of their two children, 1-year-old Sean Preston and infant Jayden James.
    A day after Britney Spears asked for a divorce, Kevin Federline filed court papers seeking sole custody of the couple's two children.

    The former backup dancer and aspiring rapper is also seeking spousal support. He says the couple's community assets are "uncertain," though Spears said in her divorce papers there was none to speak of.

    Michael Sands, a spokesman for Mark Vincent Kaplan - Federlines attorney, indicated Federline was prepared to go the distance and do what is necessary to safeguard the children. Federline will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuing those goals, Sands said.

    Spears filed for divorce on Tuesday citing "irreconcilable differences."

    Spears, 24, and Federline, 28, have a 1-year-old son, Sean Preston, and an infant son, Jayden James, who was born September 12. Spears is seeking custody of both children with visitation rights for Federline.

    Spears wed Federline in the fall of 2004. They had a ceremony in September, but court papers state the couple were officially married October 6.

    Federline recently released his debut album - "Playing With Fire" on Halloween.
    According to Nielsen Soundscan the album sold just 6, 500 copies in its first week.
