Bring it!
So how many students of P90X do we have roaming these boards?
I just started up with it again. I got through 3 weeks last time. I'm hoping I can bring it till June 11 and become a P90X graduate. It's me and my sister going through the routine right now. I'm doing the lean program per her request. Which is fine since I'm pretty out of shape so this is kicking my ass at the moment anyway.
Just wondering who here has tried it, is doing it, has completed it or has questions about it.
I know Luos is a graduate with AWESOME results.
So let's see who else has "brought it" with Tony and the gang.

This guy at my work was always bragging about how he was going to start doing it. One of the salesman would say "I'll kick your ass" and he would reply with "Wait 'til i'm done with P90X. He bought those bowflex dumbbells that can like, detach from themselves to change the weight, and they were like 400 bucks. He spent all this money on the P90X itself, plus all the P90X protein and power bars. He got through like, a couple days. Tried it twice with the same results, and hasn't touched it since.

No before and afters.
Noticed a decent change after the 90 days though. Mid-section was tighter (although not a 6 pack), arms and shoulders were bigger, was overall in better condition.
Problem...motivation.
Hoping to start another round here soon. Been 4-5 months since I finished, and I fell off the wagon a bit. Not in bad shape, but I would like to drop 10-15 pounds before starting again.
Maybe I will grab before and afters then.

I bought P90X about a month before my wife and I bought our house. Man that stuff is tough!! It kicked my ass but I stayed with it for a few weeks. We moved and after unpacking, I can't find the fucking DVD's. Pisses me off that I spent like $100 or whatever it is and we lost them.
I'd love to get back on it because I was definitely motivated into doing it every day and started getting it into my routine.

this is day 4 for me. 86 to go! My sister is my motivation, she is skinny but has never been in shape. So basically an out of shape skinny. I've always wanted her to become more athletic so that she could enjoy more things, sports and such. Her goal is to be able to run a few miles without trouble and I intend on getting her there. Besides, nothing wrong with me getting into shape in the process.
I actually am looking for a set of those dumbbells. The selecttechs that someone posted earlier. Though I intend on using them
I bought a pair of 8lb dumbbells in the meantime.... trust me.... while you may need a LOT more weight on certain exercises there are plenty where 8 can kick a normal persons ass.
I'm doing daily photos in 5 poses. Front, front flex, side, back and back flex. I'll be sure to let you all see how disgusting I was when this is all said and done. 6/11 is the date I reach 90 days. it's sooner than i think.

And there are exercises where you won't need ANY weight...
Hell, entire videos for that matter.
I have had to purchase different weights as I progressed. Felt nice.

i have a set of selectable dumb bells that go up to about 12.5 lbs each. should probably be pretty good to start with, but i'm sure i'll need to up that eventually.

I'm aiming for the 552 selecttech's they go from 5-52.5 lbs. I could look lean and ripped using 50lb bells on this program lol. they don't even use 50lb bells and they look great. I think the biggest i saw was a 40.

I need more dumb bells to be honest.
I have 8, 15, 25, and 35. Use all of them with the program for sure.

Yoga X..... wow. over 1 hour 30 minutes of Yoga. I was surprised how much of it I could do. I am far from being good at it though. Not looking forward to tonight. Legs and back. You need a pullup bar and I have no place in my basement to put one.
