    Unhappy Brake Issue Need Help!

    Hi folks,
    I know i haven't posted much as i work alot....in Africa....and now i've got a problem.
This is not an LS1 issue...good luck trying to find one of them here...
First. Truck Description-2006-08 Toyota Landcruiser Hardtop. 4X4, Its one of them hard core safari type beasts you see on TV.

Problem. Left rear brake hub is locked. There was an issue with the brakes sticking this morning, i told them to just not use the E-brake...unfortunately they took it apart, unhooked the Ebrake and then pulled the ebrake handle or did something...now the hub/tire is locked solid...like it adjusted itself to full on/stop.

I am really (no joking) am in the arsehole of the world. I'm running this off by satellite internet as for some reason this site works, amongst others that do not...

Does anybody know how to release these brakes from the outside of the hub? I've bled the brakes via the brake bleeder valve so i'm sure its something to do with the E brake...

    Any help...anyone?

Internet is going down in about 5 minutes..
No worries as we managed to track down a mechanic about 1.5 hours away who is going to come here on his "picky-picky" which is Swahilli for chinese motorcycle...
Apologies for being a drama queen.

If they are drums there should be an access hole in the backing plate. You can use a flat head screwdriver to turn the aduster and releasing the tension.
