Shit, looks close enough to new for anyone to me...remote is still in the little wrapper and all. Good buy man...even got the 4 gigs of ram.

I have a XPS desktop and they're built solid...shouldn't have a prob with it.

good luck with the vista also, but seems like a good computer.I havent had any problems with my dell inspiron laptop. I got it while they were still puttin XP on them. XP FTW

haha thanks for the encouraging words.. lol it actually comes with the software so wiping it shouldnt be a problem. only worries I have so far are the fact that he wrote me asking whereabouts my shipping address is to. I told him I am stationed in iraq and havent heard from him since. He didnt even acknowledge the question as to if there was anything wrong with it. hopefully he just hadnt read it yet.

haha sorry but I cant spend anymore moeny for the time being, I still have a goal of 10,000$ to save before the end of the deployment.

anyways I did hear back from the guy, he just apologized and said he didnt see my question about the condition of the laptop in his email. He did say that the laptop has only been turned on as the auction says and that it is absolutely mint just as if it had never been removed from the box in the first place. He just has no use for the laptop. I am so excited and cant wait to get it.

yeah, they're refurbished. Both of mine that I've bought have been in excellent shape though.
