Boat Hot Spots
I'm looking for a place togo this summer where I can boat camp at a lake or river that has bars on it. I'm from ohio so somwhere reasonable to my state. I have buckeye lake but it just a big puddle with an average depth 8ft. Anyone have something like that near them. It also needs to have no length or hp limit. I don't have a huge boat but, must lakes are usually restricted with low hp's.

You didn't say much about your boat (size type, etc.) but if it's reasonable in size (not much bigger that 26') there's the Fox Chain 'O Lakes. The chain can accomodate larger boats but if it's too big you may not be able to get under some bridges. For camping you can go to the State Park which also has the only free launch on the chain. As far as bars go there's too many to list. For more info check this site out www.funonthefox.com

52 according to GPS, that was before I had to whole out drive ripped out and bearings replaced. I haven't been in it with just myself and seeing how fast it goes. I was hoping for 55-60 when I bought it, but anything over 50 is fine, since my las boat only did about 40. Anyone know of some mods I can do to it to help boost my speed.
