BMW 335i

i know i should probably put this in another section but i need a lot of feedback.....theres a guy with a 2007 335i, long story short..he wants to race me...its a twin turbo inline 6, 0-60 in 4.8 something like that..i havent dynoed my car since i got it....4.9 but i do mid 12s at the track..here comes the problem i was being sarcastic and i told him " you wanna race for pinks" he said "no, but ill put 2gs down.... Should i race him?

Do you know if he has any mods?

If you run mid 12s you should beat him in the 1/4 mile if he is stock. I have done a little research into that engine as I have heard that bmw is going to put it in the US 135 (a car that I might buy to replace the gto in a couple of years) and there are already tuners out there that are getting a lot of hp and tq with what amounts to a reflash and catbacks. The 335 is pretty heavy so I would imagine that all else being equal, you should win against a stock 335.

My girlfriend has a new 2007 BMW 335i auto and I raced her in my 02 SS 6spd. I won but had to give it to her, that car got some pepper. I was riding shot gun in the BMW and told her to punch it She took it right up to 140mph and it was smoother then my ride. Not to meantion that engine got motor of the year for 2007.
