Blizzard Warning
Well, I live in Rhode Island and we are in the direct path of a blizzard. The weather calls 12-18" of snow a blizzard.
I call 3 ft. of snow a blizzard. I think the weather people like to "glamorize" the word and make it more than it is.
Anyway. I have plenty of beer, my generator is ready to go if needed, and I have bread, peanut butter and jelly. All the "blizzard" necessities.
WoooHooo, LET IT SNOW BABY!

I finally bought a snowblower this year, got to use it twice, I guess thats a good thing. Same thing happened when I bought my 4X4, I had to do a snow dance so I could try it out.

I don't think it is neccesarily the amount of snow but the wind associated with it that determines a blizzard warning.
For what it is worth I'm in Lacaster Co PA and they were callig for 6" of snow, I just looked out the window and I have well over a foot of snow on the ground and it is still comming down by the shovel full. Better go out and get some more peanut butter while you still can.Last edited by Spanky; 02-12-2006 at 01:50 AM.
