Bipolar !

I jsut saw the adhd thread and there were some people with knowledge. Anybody Bipolar or have knowledge?

it's a chemical imbalance that causes mood swings any where from depression to violence to happyness...

there's actually three types of bipolar disorders...

Bipolar I Disorder/Manic
Bipolar II/ Depression
and Cyclothymic disorder

which one did you want to know about?

I know what it is as I have been diagnosed. Just wanted to talk to some people about it and what works for them in situations.

my one ex is bipolar... it's hard to deal with... we'd make plans to go some where and her mood would change and then we'd stay home and she'd justbe miserable... she also refused to seek any kind of help... i guess she isn't happy unless she is completely miserable...

i've dated two girls with bipolar. one had bipolar II, every five minutes she was upset, wouldn't look at me, then another five minutes, she was okay, but wouldn't talk to me why she was upset just a few minutes ago. the other girl was diagnosed bipolar, but i believe she suffered from boarderline personality instead. she'd throw things at me, then apologize, saying it's all her fault, thank you for being with me, etc. then a few minutes later cuss you out just for doing something she didn't like.

alot of women THINK (or men they date) think they have a form of bipolar when 9 times outta 10 they have a hormonal imbalance, that can be treated with the pill. (the pill balances the output of hormones) simply put....

id also like to add that i think bipolar disorder is thrown around by doctors to often, when more tests can show that its not bipolar. its an easy way out to just hand out drugs, instead of finding out what is really going on. (just my opinion....)

she was very similar but not that extreme...

i doubt it... i think she was beond a hormanal imbalance...

that could be it, some women are completely outta their minds to the point where it cant be something as simple as an imbalance.

some girls have to have their moods regulated by the pill. when they do have to go off of the pill for an amount of time....they turn into psychos!!!
