BIC Acoustech HT-88's (Home Theatre)

Some of you tried to help me with my previous home theatre thread.

I found a set of these BIC Acoustech HT-88's for 350 shipped. Would I be stupid to not jump on these for that price. Information seems to be limited on these speakers.

I wanted to get some Athena's (AS-F2's) but then I said no and pussed out, now I can't find the Athena's anywhere for sale.

I play video games, listen to music, and watch movies about evenly.

I was going to use my bookshelves (Athena B1.2's) for the rear, pick up a center channel speaker somewhere else and a sub, maybe an H100.

What you guys think? Or is there a better speaker out there.

Hmmm some are saying the HT-75s might have less bass, but if I get a good sub, it wouldn't be an issue and they'd be cheaper.

I might have to find my old home theatre thread and read through the recommendations again.

I'll have to find your thread...i gotta run to the store. I'll be back on later tonight, but just so you know I'm gonna show you a link that says these bic acoustech ht-88's blow 2 sets of klipsch's out of the water at a fraction of the price.

Doesn't anyone own these speakers (ht-88)
