    Best place for an LT1 383 stroker kit?

    I have been looking for a good place to get a 393 stroker kit for an LT1.
    I havent found any sponsers that have it, anyone know any good places?

    Also can anyone tell me if its better to get a 383 or LE1?

    My buddy has a LT1 block bored already with the crank, eagle connecting rods, and powder coated skirt pistons, I bet he would be willing to get rid of it. It's been sitting in a oiling bag for the last 3 years. No fuel system or anything just block,pistons,rods,crank. I think he has the paper work and it said 10.7 compression with stock LT1 heads.

    great site, but I dont want to buy a built motor, I still have my own, I am just looking for the actual stroker kit, I saw a few pple selling them on ebay but I dont see ebay as a good place for preformance parts

    You should consider a Short block (at least) instead as not just any hack can build a 383 LT1
