2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Definitely 2nd gen. Although it's not the most powerful I like the looks of the 76 (last of the single headlights) best...

Best looking T/A? 1/2/3/4 Gen?
I'm a little partial to the 77-78 body style...

Nothing beats the look of a bandit era Trans Am.
I am very partial to 2nd and 4th gens. 2nd gens for the nostalgia side of me... and 4th gens for the sinister, get the "f" out of my way, nothing else like it on the road, look.

Im with pajeff02 on this one also. I guess "Smokey and the bandit" kinda makes me smile in reference to the 2nd gen. And of course the 4th gen with the ram air nostrils and the aggressive huge rear wing looks like its going fast sitting still. The Trans Am commercial where the TA eats the exotic italian car is bada$$ also. I also own a 4th gen, so I guess i'm most partial to that one! Although my 1st f-body was a 1984 TA with the H.O. (hahahahaah) 5.0. So I also loved that car. The dash in that car had a really nice layout. Kinda like a fighter jet. I love em all!!! UGGHHHH.

Fourth Gen('98-'02), hands down.
To this day, in my opinion, there is not a more sinister and more aggressive looking car than a '98-'02 WS6.
Car person or not, the sight of one demands you do a double take to check it out twice.

Obviously I love the 4th gen. Other models I want are the 400 formulas and 455 ho/sd. My uncle has a 72 455. Hoping I end up with it.

I hated the 80's t/a but I am in love the 80's camaro. I'd love to own a 70's but my 00 and 98 just have/had sexy lines

What CJREX said. Then the 98-02. If you had asked my 10 year old self I would have said the Bandit.

SOM- 2002 FireHawk
Well I guess I am very lucky as I have the 4th Gen that I think looks, rides, handles, is pretty quick for stock ride and is the best T/A made:
02 Sunset Orange Metallic FireHawk, with an IROC inspired spoiler.
But then to be honest I am bias in this opine. With a big smile on my face!

K.I.T.T. is also 1 of my fav's. Best looking, not IMO,but when that show was on, you couldn't keep me away from the TV. I also had a 1985 TA that I wish I still had. Would've been emissions exempt by now!

I'll expand a little because I don't like to be stuck just on TA's, not really a TA person, and prefer Formulas best when it comes to pontiac Fbodies. So I'd rather look at this as an Fbody poll that falls more in line with the Mustang pole and the pony car wars.
I currently own a 1st, 2nd, and 4th gen F-body. Had a 3rd gen for a while as well.
I think the answer is pretty easy when you look at statistics, sale prices, etc.... The 69 camaro is pretty much the pinacle of all F-bodies and falls right in line with the all time popularity of tri-5 chevys (particularly the 57), and the 70 chevelle, and are frequently touted as being the 3 most popular cars of all time among the GM crowds. For the 69 camaro to fall into that group speaks volumes.
I do like the other generations for different reasons.Last edited by Firebirdjones; 04-07-2015 at 06:37 AM.

Ya know they don't make them anymore.....right??
But if you insist, I'll take a 2nd gen TA over any other, and the 1970 model year specifically (I still like my formula better though )Last edited by Firebirdjones; 04-07-2015 at 09:10 AM.
