    - Baseball - Broken face due to an 85 MPH fastball inbetween my eye socket and temple (Dr. said I more than likely would have been dead if it was 1/4 of an inch more towards my temple). Multiple broken fingers and my left hand twice (Benefits of being a Catcher). Both ACL's torn. And I now have arthritis in my knees.

    - Racing (Go-Karts... No not the piddly little ones at you're local putt-putt) - Dislocated shoulder. Broken both wrists. Multiple concussions. Broken left foot.

    - Basketball - Slightly cracked Adam's apple due to an elbow to the throat. Broken nose.

As much as I've done in my life I've never broken a bone. Except my nose in a fight but thats not exactly a bone.

fbod, dude that double is weak. Your corner speed sucked so major it was embarassing. Still, props on mashing a quad up like that and walking away. And when you land that first time around on the double, you start coasting, I assume to turn around and hit it again. That is the kind of shit that ends up causing wrecks, ride the whole track not just your favorite part. I've got in accidents from people doing that shit.

Wait til you get to be my age. Shit'll give you grief every day. I did roughly the same thing (dirt bike wreck at 16) but not quite as bad as I just smashed all the cartilage and dislocated my wrist + factured the inside arm bone on my right hand/arm. Didn't help that I reinjured the same place when I was 24 (dropped a Honda 750 when I hit some oil in a low speed right hand turn - this is why I no longer ride). It started bothering me really bad about 10 years ago. Most days it's fine but sometimes it throbs like hell. Doc sez it's bone-on-bone in some places (there are 23 bones in the wrist alone) and that's why it goes snap-crackle-pop and makes grinding noises when I rotate my wrist. I just have to deal with it (lots of Advil) cuz there isn't anything can be done about it.
