Bash the S2000

Me and a friend are arguing about cars and now hes bringing up the S2000 on how great it is best bang for the dollar handles really well ect. ect.
What can I say about it? I already said its tiny and looks like a chicks car and i beat the shit out of some of them...

the s2000 is a great car, if you understand what it was built for. Most don't. It's not a 1/4 mile brawler. The car was designed for someone that wants to rail corners and scream the engine. Problem is, with the complete lack of torque it has, its a horrible street car. You wanna find country roads and the track for it if you wanna go fast, otherwise its an image kind of car. Its also impractical and a 2 seater roadster so although its 30 k, its a complete toy and you need to make a lot of money to own one.

Ive had the 98z28, 2001 s2000 and a 2003 350z roadster. I like the 350z the best so far.

Bang for buck and S2000 don't belong together. The best bang for buck roadster is a first gen NA Miata

S2000 isn't too bad for what it is (detuned race car). I test drove one back in 02. They don't work real well under 3500 rpm but after that.... WOW! I liked the 8K sweep tach and the digital dash was nice but the cheesy top turned me off. I had a 96 Z28 vert at the time. I ended up trading it in for the Z28 I have now.

I like S2k's and I even like Miatas. Atleast they're rear wheel drive. Also they are in there own class really and cannot compete with Fbodys power wise, as they where never meant to

s2000's are fast when they have a turbo tossed on the as they were meant to have. without a turbo they are slow for anything but corners. i do like them and between them and the miatas i say they win by a long shot

also.. S2ks are way cooler than a miata looks wise... miatas are homo cars... if you drive one it better be on a track and only a track..

I had chicken grease and seasoning covering all my fingers except for one so I was doing the "hunt and peck" real fast. Word up on the miata on the track. The S2K is strung high for track use aswell. IMO Aftermarket makes a car, and Miata aftermarket>S2K in every way

Werd, as much as I hate Honda. a S2k does what it was designed to do extremely well. And besides looking gay, I haven't figured out why people knock a miata so much. I swear I would drive a bright pink s2k with dicks painted all over it before I owned a FWD. Look how many more great cars enthusiasts would have if they just made them RWD... SRT4s, Mazdaspeed 3s, Rsx-s... Acura TL. Every car I just listed would be 10000000000000x's better if they where just RWD. Look at old datsun 510's and the cult fallowing they have. Old AE86 toyotas... even Volvo 240's get treated like gold at a AutoX because of the plain and simple fact that it powers the rear tires

lol sorry not female here. Nothing wrong with a maxima. Peoples stlye and choice for what they want also change. I also had a 2001 dodge 1500 ext hemi and a 2001 lexus is300. Go crawl back under a rock. So I should have my 92 camaro with 385 stroker by your account?

They were "meant" to have a turbo? The F series motors pop faster than Micheal Jackson at a Hana Montana concert when boosted....
