Bar fight turned towards F-Body

So, last night I was driving through downtown Chicago about 4:00 am, w/ my friend and his g/f screaming at each other in the Formula. I pulled up to a stop light and there is a bar on my right w/ people flooding out in a hurry. I continue to watch as they as a huge brawl breaks out. I figured if we watched for a while it would stop all the screaming in the car. I thought it was good entertainment at 1st, but before I knew it the drunks were getting very close to my car. Then all of a sudden, a fat ass fell on my front passenger fender. Pretty soon they were all around my car. I knew this was not good territory for the F-Body so I quickly thought to scare them all off w/ a good 5000 rev w/ the cutout wide open. It worked and I blew the red light to get my car the hell outta there. When I got home I checked the area for damage and all seemed to be fine initially. However, upon further inspection, the paint on the passenger fender was cracked in two places (fairly big). I was extremely pissed, because the fat ass did not fall particularly hard and I thought all would be fine. It was very cold out though, and the pliable plastic + fat ass + cold = paint crack. Man if I only knew it was cracked at that moment….. This would definitely have been a more interesting story, to say the least.

Yeah i know, thanks for the support guys, but im gonna try to make the bar pay. I think they r liable in a situation like this, so we'll see. I 'll let u all know what ends up happening.

I can't see that happening, but good luck with it. Seems like all the legal money you would have to pay would cover the repair

go to the bar, ask if the cops showed up to clear the fight. if so, teh cops probably have the names of who was involved...unless fat guy was just a bystander who got pushed.

dude.. get your shit fixed. If you can find out the guys name, get his address, make sure you've gotta witness then file a complaint in small claims court. If he doesnt show you'll at least have a judgment against his ass.. then start levying against his shit and garnish his wages... FUN STUFFF!!!

It is 4 AM (Shit alwasy happens at 4 AM)
You are stopped outside a bar - AT 4 AM!
You sit there to watch the fight, instead of moving away.
