It was definatley Buckshot, you could see a few dust clouds pop up on a few shots that was missed or just partial hits. I am thinking that between todays shotgun round technology, the shooters experiance and the downward force of the rotor that is helping for the quick kills. These are the times I think AA12's or the Saiga 12 would be much more fun to use.I also would have thought itw would be alot cooler if they was using a huey hog instead ,a kind of Irony I guess.

now dont get me wrong i think they should be killed also but it seems a little unfair to me. kinda like shooting fish in a barrel. But like i said i wouldnt say no to the chance to do this. just kinda takes the skill or the thrill from hunting. I am pretty sure that this area they were shooting in was completely over run with these things so i guess they are just evening the score a little.

I have no problem seeing people shoot overpopulated/non-native animals like this, but I saw something like this where they tracked down mountian lions with bait, then bloodhounds, then chased it with vehicles, and if the "hunter" still couldn't get his kill they would use a helicopter! Now THAT is wrong for an animal like a cougar.

    Pigs, hell yeah, BBQ!

Seems more like a job the guy is doing to help clear out feral pigs on a farmers land then just hunting. He is pretty damn good with that shotgun which makes me think he does it on a regular basis.

Have you ever tried shooting a firearm out of a heli? I would bet it is quit challenging. Not to mention the normal means of ground hunting feral pigs can be very hazardous to your health.

Could be Sarge for all we know You can get some helicoptors for about 100k and Texas made it legal so there would be and easier and quicker way of getting the population down. I wouldn't doubt a bit that many ranches have helis to aid in checking out their property, crop dusting ect anyway.

Especially when you look at the fact that both you and the target are moving and the guy is using a shotgun with buckshot. Hes taking the majority of the kills with one shot and if not its dead by the second. And if you have ever seen pics of guys who have been gored by a feral pig then you wouldnt want to be any where near a live one.
