I would pass even if I had the money. But then again I hate fords. That and it still looks like a mustang and I really dislike their look.

Other than that or a ZR1 I'm not sure what I'd get. I've only seen a couple reviews of the Viper and the new Corvette is a cluster fuck.

Incorrect. Only diehard bowtie enthusiasts like, let alone love the C7. Almost no one likes the rear, and the interior is out of a 90's era truck. Furthermore it's been pointed out that the C7, even in it's debut, has quality issues.

Okay, I'll give you points on the rear comment, but 90's era truck interior?

That interior is God awful. The knobs and buttons look gaudy, the instrument cluster is a throw back to the 90s digital shit in the C4s, and WTF is up with that gap between the dash upholstery and instrument cluster plate. The whole thing looks like ass.

Look at the knobs on the HVAC along with the buttons.

That is the best GM can do? LOL

    Want more quality issues?

From the pictures I have seen you would have to be blind and have no feeling in your body to think the c7 interior looks like a 90s era truck. Digital isn't something that only the c4 corvette used. Almost all super car makers have some digital read outs in their sports cars these days. The rear I am not a fan of, not as bad as the camaro SS but still not up to par with the rest of the car.

Do you really think GM sports cars have had good quality since the early 80s? The c6 and c5 corvette were full of quality issues interior fit and body panel wise. The body panels flex to the point you can see them from feet away with the naked eye. The corvette is supposed to be one of the best bang for buck sports cars. This means you get good performance but they had to skimp out elsewhere.

    this is a 2011-14 F150 radio:

I'm not talking about digital anything. I'm referring to the cheap black plastic that car companies (except GM) have all since abandoned. I'm talking about the poor quality of the carbon fiber panels. Look at how bad the knobs are.

The mentality of "cheap because we're GM" has been destroyed by Ford. Look a their interiors and the fit and feel. Even Dodge has stepped up their game.

Then again some people will defend GM no matter what they do. Even when they put prelude tail lights (90's) on a Camaro.

Never stated anything like that, to the contrary I think one of the only good things in my 02 SS was the engine. I also think that this current Vette sucks ass and know for a fact that the ZR1 will be making its home in the garage for the foreseeable future.

Some buttons are all that's required for the interior to be liken to that of a 90's era truck? Come on man. I don't like the interior that much either, but I'm not going to go as far as to make a comparison like that.

And here we are bashing the quality, fit and finish of the new Corvette when many of us drive what we drive? I'd lose count trying to rack up all of the quality issues with my Camaro. No, it wasn't as expensive a car as the new Corvette, but the new Corvette isn't nearly as expensive as the cars it'll be going up against either.
