Bad day at the Dodge dealership
An eye witness tells his story:
I was dropping off a car I just fixed at the Dodge dealership yesterday and this was going on , snapped a pic with my cel. As one of the techs was driving the brand new Challenger RT around the dealership the throttle suddenly stuck wide open , his only choices were to jump a 4 lane highway or slam into the rendezvous on the used car lot. He bounced of the rendezvous and took out the light post , rendezvous hit the intrepid ......

I'm guessing the throttle sticking had something to do with the gas pedel being pressed against the floor. Someone couldn't handle the power.

yes, turning the engine off is the best option!
throwing into neutral will almost certainly destroy the engine

my guess is that it happened really fast your mind just doesnt think that quickly. I'm so sure everone here would never ever crash a car that has a stuck throttle right?
