Background Check Sites
In my line of work, I occasionally need some background info on someone. I generally call upon some local LEO's or court agencies I am friendly with for assistance. I decided to try the on-line stuff and went with a one (1) month subscription to Instant Checkmate. Unfortunately, I am not impressed -- the site actually kicks back a bunch of useless crap like a person's zodiac sign. Yeah, that is real helpful.
I know there are other options out there. Any recommendations?

My sister and brother-n-law own a bunch of apartments and they do credit checks on the people that want to rent the apartments. All they need is the persons name, address and social security number and it tells them if they pay their bills. That service costs a few bucks a month.
