    Awesome vette at car show

    Here are some pictures of a Corvette I saw at a recent local car show. When I first saw the car, I thought it was a normal restored first gen corvette with the new model vette wheels. But on a closer look, I noticed the interior was from a C5 vette. I thought that was pretty cool, but I had still seen it before. But then I started noticing odd things, and on an even closer inspection and a talk with the owner, the car is actually a C5 vette, with a first gen vette body over it. The body had to be stretched 2 inches wider and 3 inches longer to fit over the newer model chassis. I thought it was amazing. Imaging coming up to someone at a light in that, they'd probably think you were babying it, but then you let it rip

    in a chevy mag. i saw them do a re-skin of a 4th gen to look like 69' camaro,they had to strech the floor pan 7", but it looks sweet
