Ya i read that too today. Its really crappy A7x is such a good band. I dont think they would be the same without The Rev on drums.

A7X is easily my favorite current band. I have all their albums and listen to them nearly every day. Knowing this, as soon as news broke my friends started txting me at work about it. It really sucks. Rev also handled backup vocals. They will never be the same.
Makes you wonder what they will do about the album they are working on. Could this be the "and justice for all" of A7X?
For anyone NOT in the know.... And Justice for All was the first Metallica album released after the death of their insanely talented bassist Cliff Burton. The album was considered a triumph and one of the best Metallica albums of all time. They successfully channeled a tragic event and focused their sorrow and anger into their music and it worked for them. Here's hoping A7X doesn't lose their strength and can similarly recover from this terrible terrible loss
RIP Rev
Side note. he was only 28 and the early reports are saying natural causes.... kinds freaks me out... i'm 27 lolol

That sucks, he was good at his craft. Their are many videos of ppl trying to play his stuff. That is a good sign that many will miss him for drumming. I know nothing of his personal life. Live fast die young I guess.

WTF is natural causes? I consider natural cause to be old age, or failing organs at older age, etc. But 28yrs???
Cancer, disease, etc. I would call those abnormal causes but that IMO.

Prolly had a Brittany Murphy cocktail. Too bad he died, but A7X sucked balls.

I guess when the police state natural causes it only means they have ruled out foul play and suicide. Since you can't "see" an overdose it would open the dept up to lawsuit if they state "apparent overdose" only to find he died in his sleep of an undiagnosed heart defect. Even if they see needles by his bedside and a mirror covered in white powder... means nothing. Can't rule it cause of death without toxicology reports.
I mean I can recall reports of celebs dying of "apparent drug overdose" but I can imagine in our overly litigious society that such statements would fall out of favor when making a media statement.

Sad to hear of his death, but A7X is a horrible band and even mentioning them and the words And Justice For All in the same sentence should be against the law.
