Avatar, now a billionaire, passes The Dark Knight
After only 17 days in the box office Avatar has grossed $1,025,378,961. It will be the 2nd highest grossing film of all time, behind Titanic, sometime next week.
I found this pretty remarkable, especially for a sci-fi film. If you all haven't seen it yet, don't miss out. It's a great flick.

Are those numbers world-wide? Without looking it up, i'm pretty sure Titanic did 700+ million in the states.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
And once Avatar hits number one he will begin to plan his next trick. Making Avatar number two again!
But where to go from here? He has 3D under his belt.... next stop Smell-O-Vision!

Titanic did $600 million domestically. Avatar is half-way there after 17 days. It's also over half-way in the international market as well. It probably won't garner a total gross to beat Titanic, but at least Cameron can sit back as the #1 and #2 movies for box office receipts are his.
