Okay I've got 2 profile on my XBOX 360, my roommate and myself. We have XBOX live but its not active because we never bought the plan (yet) Anyway my roommate built a car and tried to "gift" it to me. The problem is I never recieved it. Where did the car go? How do I retrieve it? Do I HAVE to have the Live account to get the car from the same XBOX unit? Whats the deal?

Yes, you do. Gifting only works through Live, both accounts have to have a live sub... sorry.

That’s what I thought. So what happened to the car he "gifted" is it just floating around in cyber space until I activate my LIVE account? Or can he get it back?

Ehhhh... not sure.

I would guess its "floating around"... I don't think you can cancel a gift... I've never tried tho

thats sucks, I didnt think you needed a LIVE account just to trade between profiles on the same system. Oh well, great marketing by Microsoft though.

is the game really worth getting? im still debating whether to pick up the game or not...

how does it compare to GT3 or GT4 for PS2/PS3...?

I'm still a fan of the GT series, they were the ground beakers.

(GT pros) I think the cars drive better in GT, more forgiving. You kind of have to drive the cars in Forza like a motorcycle if you get what I mean. Plus GT as more cars, at least the new on does. You do get music wail driving in GT but not Forza

(Froza pros) The game profile is much better, graphic are great. The modding and tuning is just awesome. Plus you can do engine swaps and driveline swap... IE put a C6R motor in a 2000 camaro... and take front wheel drive intrega and make it 6cyc all wheel drive. Paint shop it just nuts you can spend all you time there and never race. The Xbox live is much better with sell/trading/modding/racing. It’s kind of nice not having to get your lic. To racing in different classes. But you do have to earn driver point and vehicle point to quailify, just about the same thing. They both let you use an AI driver is you don't feel like doing it yourself. But in Forza you have to hire a driver and better drivers cost more... Kind of cool if you have the cash

I think its every bit as good as GT, I've been a GT freak since i got 2 back in the day but when i got a 360 instead of a ps3 (could bring myself to spend 600+ on it) i didn't think FM was going to beat gt so i downloaded the demo and was hooked ever since, FM doesn't have as much adjustibility as GT did when it comes to seting up your car but the custimization more than makes up for it, it a must if you like raceing and have a 360.

I have both PS3 and 360, Forza 2 I think is better then GT but,, rememeber I said but we havent seen the new GT which is due out soon. It just might blow Forza out of the water. It does have a rally which is very cool.

GT was the only thing that made me even think about getting a ps3, and depending on how badass it is might be the only reason i buy one when it comes out but it will have to be really sweet, and yes the rally is what i miss the most, i'll fire up the old ps2 to rally race a dodge pick-up on 4every now and then

well i went ahead and picked it up used for $35. case, disc, and booklet are all in excellent condition. ill give it a spin and try it out...

heres one reason to like forza, you can powerslide in a Camaro!! now i just wish i could make my real one as bad ass as the one i have on the game lol
