A-arm bushings are a bitch

I've been cussing this A-Arm all morning, trying to get the Polyurethane Bushings in the arm but the damn things go in 3/4 of the way and stop. Been beating the hell out of them, tried the press and it started bending the A-arm so I stopped. Guess the sledge hammer is the next step.
The drivers side was a bitch too but I got it in without this much trouble. This is for the third gen BTW, all I like to get the paasenger side done. Still have to press the new ball joint in. Ahhh, the fun of hot rodding

Put a tourch to it, heat it up and expand it, then lube the bitch up and slam it hom

tried that, didn't work but of course I just about melted the damn thing. I took the air grinder and smoothed out the holes a little, finally got the big bushing in. It was a bastard! If I had a cold beer right now this would be easy
