    anyone use a GPS???

My parents asked me what I want for Christmas, and since I'm always getting myself lost I thought I'd ask for a GPS unit for my car. Anyone on here use one? Any certain ones to check out? and anyone have pics of them in their f-bodies?

They are handy, but I just use the GPS nav on my phone....

honestly, just go into best buy and play around with the floor models and see which setup you like the best...

I have a Garmin Nuvi 205. It works awesome. Its a no-frills basic unit but does all that I need it to do. I highly recommend one. I prefer the Garmin untis over the TomTom due to the Garmin using the Navteq maps. Many more POI over the TomTom.

I got one for my birthday, for the exact same reason. Its a Garmin Nuvi 200, think it costs $200. Also used a TomTom, both good units.

Pick up an LG dare or Blackberry storm... they cost less than most of the GPS units out there, and you can make calls on them too! LOL

    Oh well, sucks for you!!

Well, I don't know if any of their phones have good GPS or not.... so I'll go with the other guys in suggesting a Garmon or a TomTom (my mom has a Garmon, and my sister has a TomTom... I like the Garmon better, but it is a year newer....)

Garmin Nuvi 200 I bought for my mom on Black Friday. It was $97 at Wal Mart that day, normally it is $160 or so. Online cheaper. It is an easy to use basic unit. I have had the Garmin C330 Street Pilot for 120 months now, love it! Never lost anymore...get something, if they want to buy one for your Xmas present you will love it. One thing I really love is no subscription involved.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 350. My dad just bought my two sisters and my mother the nuvi 255W for christmas. Around $200 each. Garmin's got some really nice products out right now.

I guess if you drive alot its worth it. I have NAV and OnStar in the Yukon. Used both once to test them out. They work great. But I have not used them since.
