anyone see tiger woods win today.
like it says, and did you see he's speech, that was the first time we all saw how emotion he can really get. the crowd just kept taking pictures, make noise, he was getting so pissed but kept he's focus to win. he had a nice speech about how much he missed his dad and how bad he wanted him to see him win one more time. very sad day, but a great one at the same time.
congrats tiger. and it will get easier.

Can anyone tell me what happened on the 18th green as Tiger and Sergio were playing it Sunday? I saw what looked like 6 stains on the green. It looked as if someone threw about 6 paint filled balloons onto the green but I missed what they had to say about it.

I don't think he is over rated by any means. What I can't understand is how often his competition ends up playing like shit on Sunday. If Sergio had played the front 9 as well as he did on Thurs, Fri and Sat he probably would have walked away with the win.

It was colored flour ... some sort of father's rights group. But it really showed up the lack of security - if you can get in a half-dozen flour bombs, why not just a half dozen suicide bombers.
Tournament golf is very mental ... Sergio wilts under the pressure - particularly in a major. You saw it on Saturday, great front ... started for fall apart on the back - than just continued the trend on Sunday.
DiMarco, right now, seems to be the only one who has the mental fortitude to stand up to Tiger.

He was pissed at all the peole with camera phones snapping photos. Personally I think pro golfers are WAY too sensitive about needing absolute quiet while they play. I've never had a problem with people talking or anything like that when I played. When I'm concentrating that hard on something I'm able to ignore pretty much anything thats going on around me. The way I see it if you're that easily distracted you should be bowling.

I wasn't talking about playing with my buds. Even under tourney conditions I've always been able to tune out outside distractions while I play. At least I used to. A botched back surgery ended my golf playing days. I've had opponents apologize for being too noisy and offer to let me hit again. I just tell them not to worry about it cuz it just doesn't bother me.
