Red- 2001 WS6 Pontiac TransAm
Anyone put a Kayak inside a Trans Am before?
Just wondering if it would fit. What about on the roof mounting, would the t-tips be a problem? If you have put one on the inside, how big was it and how much stuck out? Thanks.

Believe it or not I had a Kayak fit in my 94 Formula with the hatch closed. It went from the windshield to right where the rear hatch closes.

I put a weight bench in the back with the seat down...almost busted out the hatch glass. Good times..

I suggest making friends with someone who owns a Kayak and a TRUCK.

09 EclipseGT 75 Chevy 4x4- 2001 Trans-Am 13 F-XT
I stuffed so much crap in mine it's amazing. I'll give a few highlights. I hauled a basketball hoop in the box with the hatch closed. It was one of the big free standing ones that you fill up with water on the bottom. I had a round papasan chair fit hatch closed. I even hauled a couple of 15' + Christmas trees in it. The hatch didn't close for that though! If I do it again this winter I'll be sure to get pics this time. I forgot about them this last winter until I had it out and in the stand. I had 10 tires in mine already. (hatch open) That's my tire record so far. I'm sure you could get a Kayak in there no problem some how.

Ever had a basket ball hoop in your ride. My friend had a basketball hoop the ones you can move around that you usually fill up with water or sand in his IROC when he moved from houses. Wish I had a camera and taken a couple of pics.
