anyone own a GTP??

Anyone that owns one is
They tend to eat front hubs. They run around 130 iirc and easy to do. If your mom doesn't have a severe lead foot problem the trans will hold up. If she does it could hate life. 2002 was the last year affected with the sterring rack recall so make sure it was done. Also they are recalling the valve cover gaskets right now. Other than that mine does about 22-23 combined driving and does around 30 straight highway and beats the average Stang on the road

IMO Interior is too cheesy with a ton of hard plastics.

I think the Wheel Bearings go for about $130 for the part. It says extra boost so make sure there's at least a TR55 plug in there or equivalent

IIRC = if I recall correctly (internet shorthand)....

And 60 isn't old (at least to me it isn't) and I still drag race (at the track) and beat my car like a rented mule.....

ok,well theres no extra boost on the motor..the previous owner added a dual guage pillar pod showing boost and g-force.

the good gas mileage in these is good to hear..moms was afraid it was a gashog.she was considering a 4 cyl malibu or hyundai to save $$...btw what grade of gas do you all recommend?

Its recomended to run premium. I doubt any of the old women I see with a Regal GS puts that in. I've beaten on mine with 87 on numerous ocassions and haven't killed it yet.
