Anyone here use Amsoil products?
I was at a boat show today, and stopped by an Amsoil dealer. After talking to him for a while, I left with some Power Improver and 5 quarts of 5W-30 for the Jeep. He said that I won't have to change the oil for 25,000 miles. Although I've heard nothing but good things about this stuff, I'm having a hard time beliving this. Anyone have any first hand experience?

I am working on becoming a dealer, mostly so I can get it for cheap. Because I use it... I like it and have no problems, but change it every 5,000 miles. 25,000 miles is stupid.

Pi is good shit. You will want to run an amsoil filter or atleast a wix for a long oil change interval. I would do a used oil analysis on a shorter run (maybe 12k) before deciding you can go 25000

I am doubtful about 25k OCI. Seems like everyone is going to a deep sump for the new cars to extend the OCI to 10k.http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...1689554&page=1 I have always stuck to 3k miles on my z28 even with synthetic.

Also, I'm glad I drive a car that I don't have to give a shit about what oil is put in it.
Actually, scratch that. "Own" is the correct term, not "drive."
