Anyone here live in or near Myrtle Beach? I'm planning a trip.

I've been to Myrtle Beach 7 or 8 times but this will be our first vacation with our 2yr old son and I want to stay in a really nice place that is family oriented. I found a place called The Landmark Resort which looks nice online but I don't remember ever seeing it in person. Can someone recommend a good spot? I want it to be oceanfront and price doesn't matter. Well, let's say nothing over $1300 a week. Thanks for any input!!

i live about 40 min. from MB and work real close but there are so many new hotels going up everyday i cant keep up. The Landmark is real close to everything, only 2-3 miles from Broadway at the beach, tons of pools and stuff but dont know much else about it. I will tell you that if you come down, there is a card called a myrtle beach VIP card that will get you discounts at TONS of places. Last time i bought one it was $10 and its good for discounts at hotels, food, entertainment, etc.

when are you planning on going ??If you dont go in peek tourist times , you can get some great deals just about anywhere ... When I was married me and the wife took a trip , early Sept, We stayed in a room that had the little kitchen thing ., indoor-outdoor pool, spa , and gym.. In season it was $275 a night ..we got it for$65 a night ...
