Anyone get married in Vegas?

I have been thinking about going this route rather than spending a bunch of cash for a so called "normal" wedding. Anyone have any experience doing this, and if so how easy was it to do. Thanks.

I got married there 3 1/2 years ago. Stayed at the Monte Carlo. Had the wedding there. Small ceremony. 10 of us went there and stayed Mon thru friday. Don't remember exactly how much it cost, but I know it was under a grand. Call the casino's out there and you can get prices on a wedding. Most offer different packages depending on what you want done and what you want included in your wedding.

You can have a normal wedding that doesn't break the bank for crissake!

Notary will marry you, wear nice clothes instead of the rental shit & NO $5K wedding dress
Invite all your mutual friends and have them bring food & drink
Have someone man the music for dancing
Eat drink & be merry!

Way under $500.00 easy including a C-note for the notary!

pretty easy...book a slot in advance, go to the court and get your license and off you go.

If you lived closer I would come over and marry you folks...

Go interview some notarys or JPs or whomever, then just invite a few friends over, grill some steaks, get married and go to Vegas for a honeymoon.

Don't think about it too much or plan it too much, just make it informal and personal, have a great time, and then do what we did... We got re-married at the drive through chapel in Las Vegas on our honeymoon.

Or... Just get me a round trip ticket and a motel room, feed me, and I'll show up and marry you folks anyway.

Heck, I bet if I check with your county clerk and we set up a broadband connection with video, audio, and remote desktop, I could probably do the service online.

hahah. an online wedding.... technology at it's finest. here's a idea to go along with it, the two of you can just get married over the computer. she get's a video feed, you get a video feed, and then after words you can "finalize" the wedding over video sex. hahahaha.

We're spending $8000 on our wedding at Laguna Beach and then going to Las Vegas for the honeymoon. Dont ask, it was her idea...

Got married in Vegas. It has been 8 1/2 years. I stayed at the Luxor for a honeymoon. I can't remember the name of the chapel Shangralaor something like that.
