The Bay Area has laws prohibiting people from doing anything that might be construed as not gay.

Well unlike my days growing up back east bringing a little plastic bb gun on every canoeing trip, these days they make some that shoot at 1,000-1,200 feet per second as well as some high powered .22 caliber versions people have killed deer and boar with!

And there were no cell phones when I was a kid and people were less anti-gun, and CA is the center of that movement.

Something tells me if some stranger saw me floating down the Russian River in a canoe and I pulled out one of these air guns that look just like a real rifle and started aiming it places, they'd have that cell phoned dialed to 9-1-1 to there ear in seconds. Then what happens?

Check out what this dude bagged:

Some canoe rental places says no alcohol, dogs, babies etc.

What would they say if they saw me loading a few back packs, couple fishing rods, and a RIFLE CASE?

Could always use my guitar case though I guess.
