Anyone doing the Black Friday thing?

But today the Guitar Center catalog for the black friday sale came in the mail.

You're lucky. At Circuit City, both black Fridays, I was there from 4,5am or so until 10pm or so.... I was regularly scheduled to leave at around 5-6pm(then schedule for opening again the next day around 8am), but.. whatever, I stayed and endured it all! I must say though, It's an experience that I will never forget that gave me memories full of misery(not afflicted upon myself), dread(ditto as previous), and humor. I remember playing capture the flag against the car audio department(tech department vs car audio department) during the slow hours of black Friday. During black Friday you get a mad rush until around 10am or so. After that it dies for a couple of hours, then starts up again, and it follows this cycle for the whole day.

No way in hell I'd put myself through the aggravation.

I waited in line for over 4 hours once for Cabbage Patch dolls with a bunch of other Moms with screaming kids back in 1985 for my step daughters from my first marriage.
