I probably have about 500 into everything with tires, wheels, tie rods, a arms
Maybe a bit more. I like it, but i look at it sometimes and think of parts i could have picked up for the SS with the money.
My biggest complaint is the gas tank is so damn small it only runs maybe 15 minutes before i need a fillup but besides that i like it. Would have liked to pick up a revo but this one was cheaper and a hell of a lot faster.

Black- 2002 SS Camaro
I've been playing with RC cars since I was little. Right now at my dads house I have about 12 of them. I have a Jato 2.5 and a Jato 3.3. My dad owns over 200 plus cars, he is ocd when it comes to owning everything. If you ever need any tips, or if you ever go to any events hit me up.

Damn, thats a whole fleet. I like the vettes. Never been to any events, would like to go sometime but time is always limited. And i'm pretty sure the bent spoiler is due to flips. I've got a ford raptor body for it as well, i mainly use the original body for the camera mount

People like to badmouth the Traxxas cars because they're built to hold up, and aren't always the most competitive on the track. People fail to remember that Traxxas seems to be the only company paving the way for new classes and ideas. They invented Short Course trucks (essentially) and now are working on Dragsters (yes, thats right)

I have a few cars/trucks but here are the ones I mostly run..
1/10 scale Team Associated RC10, RC10T, and a custom monster built with various parts from Traxxas, and so forth and a stampede body.
RC10's are both built in about 3-4 days each from kits.

It's amazing how far RC tech has come. If you think that jato is fast, go get a slash. With the right lipo battery behind that brushless motor, one of those is downright scary fast.
On top of the slash I want an HPI 1/5 scale truck. Not as fast as the brushless stuff, but cool because of the size.

You want a slash? I've got one. Powerplant and electronics are stock but I've made the improvements to keep it durable. Also, look up the Losi 5ive-T. It's a 4wd fifth scale racing truck.

I love my slash 4x4. Brushless motors FTW! It is a beast on a 3 cell Lipo battery.

It's funny all the stuff they have for those gas cars now. Heads, pipes, etc.
When I was a kid everything was 10x as expensive for gas stuff than it is now.
Even the electric stuff is less expensive for the most part than it was.
Only thing is now it's getting harder to find actual kits, most stuff is ready to run these days.
I prefer kits, which generally don't come with radios' or speed controls, just a stock motor.
I run mostly Futaba gear for radios, and modified motors.
