We called it the "mirror check" when we were 16.

Light Pewter Metallic- 2K Camaro Z28
I do it all the time... in fact I also do it when I pass by a 18 wheel tractor trailer. I'd watch the reflection from the wheels and when the trailer is the big shiney fuel ones, I'd watch the reflection of it too.

Man, I wish I could even find a window or mirror that big AND have my camera at the same time. Would make a cool picture to show off!

A 0-120 video? That's awesome man, you have any idea what the time was on that? With a stock LS1 I'm guessing around 14.5 seconds.

heres the link
I took my stop watch to the video and 0-100 was 13.26 and 0-120 was 19.32 but I know those times are not like they do at a track but gives me an idea.

Well I thought the LS1 could do a 13.4 quarter mile at about 105 mph, so I was just shooting out a guess. Anyone have real numbers for this?

I think for that run you'd better try to mount the camera somewhere so you can have both hands on the wheel lol.
