Any Television experts here??

I have a 65" Mitsubishi DLP TV. The TV previously had its light bulb go out and I replaced it with a new one. This was about a couple months or so ago. I hadnt had any issues until yesterday. The TV turns on, picture is clear but after a minute or less, it shuts itself down without a warning and a red light comes up right below "lamp" sign.

I am thinking it cant be lamp because the picture comes up everytime. I inspected the lamp, it looked very clean and nothing out of the ordinary. I tried the lamp reset thing, but still the same. By the way, I just put a brand new lamp in it about a couple months ago. Previous one gave up and there was no picture when it was shot.

I am trying to figure out what is causing this. Anyone have any idea on how to take care of this?

I had a similar issue and the balast was bad.

Sounds to me like something is heating up and shutting it down.

I have the exact TV with the exact same problem. Changed the bulb out a while back.
It seems like a heating problem. If I let it cool down long enough, it will work fine.
I learned never to turn it off, if I know I will be turning it back on soon.
