I myself bring a 1994 Mach Z 780 triple. I ride in UP MI, and WI. The sled moves much much faster then the SS. Mainly from 60 to 110.

I used to before we sold them we had and 1994 Arctic cat 440 and a 1987 Yamaha Phazer 485 that we rode in eastern Oregon.

They were a blast! I miss it!

I've rode a 440 before, they don't sound like much but with the HP to weight, they fly.

they are pretty fast, ive only got it up to about 80. that Phazer was much faster though, because of the bigger engine and it was a lot lighter and more agile that the 440.

the 440 did better in deep powder but out on the open flats that Phazer would just Haul!!

How are the trails in Oregon. Gotta love deep powder, just like jet skiing.

eastern Oregon gets a lot more snow that the western part. we lived at about 5000 feet elevation so we got some good snow.

we have had upwards of 6 to 8 feet of powder way up in the high parts of the mountains, down where we rode it was closer to 3, the eastern mount ranges get the most, i now live over close to Portland and we are at about 200 feet elevation

    IT SUCKS!! lol

I wish I could take that fresh mountain power on. My track nor sled would take on that challenge.

You should come up to Alaska to ride. We have thousands of miles to ride. There is very few regulations on where and how fast. This year has started off slow. Not enough snow for me yet. I have a polaris prox 600. So I haven't even started mine up this winter.
