2 of my buddies and me are on the way to Montreal. We are driving through mass. I am in the back seat studying for my test on Monday. The driver gets pulled over for not using his turning signal while switching lanes by the mass state trooper. I get a fucking ticket for not wearing the seat belt and I am the back passenger.

I am from NY there are no laws of back seat passengers over of age 16 that must wear it. I told him that and he said something about ignorance.

Here is the worse, the ticket doesnt state that i am the back passenger, it just look like i was driving.

Yep, I was just about to say that. Also too, EVERYONE has to buckle up here (there are even signs everywhere to remind people ).

Really though, my opinion, I think you should wear your seltbelt even if it is legal to not wear it no matter where you are sitting.

Here in MS, driver gets ticket of $50 for each unbuckled passenger. Local cops setup road blocks just to make revenue. 30% of all drivers and passengers are unbuckled.

Thats funny that some tell me to wear my seatbelt...I ALWAYS wear my seat belt when I am driving or sitting as a front passenger. And ALWAYS make sure my front passenger wears their seatbelt. Its all because the Front seats are the most dangerous place to sit compared to in the back...that why there are States that don't require anyone over 16 to wear one.
