    Another Powerblock WTF

On Spike TV they just had a 2010 L99 they were working on and added a Trick Flow S/C kit watercooled with shorty headers and a cat back.

Upon first dyno from using GM's baseline 400 #'s they only increased 29RWHP. They stated that they had wires crossed or incorrect tune. Final run only produced a total gain of 46-48RWHP

I'm sorry but for almost 7.5K it better do a hell of a lot more that a measley 50hp!

I don't think those shows are designed to be watched by people who actually know what's going on

they didnt dyno the car when they first got it in but at the ending dyno session they stated that the auto cars usually put about 325 to the ground so that will be there baseline, still stupid because the have a dyno and the didnt use it to test there stocker, and yeah they did seem very happy with there results

They must have forgotten to flip the switch on the supercharger.

I despise power block with a passion. 40 horsepower from an s/c but they'll gain 20 horsepower from a royal purple oil change next week.

I'll have to rewatch the episode and actually get the fine details but I still have to cry B.S. on them.

The only thing good about the Powerblock WAS Jessi Combs and currently Courtney Hansen

I watched that episode at work yesterday. I expected more from the supercharger. I gotta get a cable box for my bedroom. I found out Lou Santiago left MuscleCar and Jesse Combs left Extreme4x4.

I remember that green Civic. NOS-fed. They had to change the front bumper cover to clear the intake kit.

Jesse is on Mythbusters now, no idea what happened to Lou. I lost interest in powerblock when Stacy and some of the other old hosts left. Though the civic that horsepower tv did one season was enough to make me give up on powerblock all together.

I saw that episode the other day. What a damn shame, spend x000 on the supercharger and not even break 450 rwhp. Weak!

they actually claimed that e3 plugs (over used unknown gap and brand plugs, other than their skewing of the dyno results) made like 12 horse in a 383

lol, watch them come back next week with a magnacharger "look how much better this kit is". Won't happen, but their results are all in how much a company pays them.
