America's 10 Most Miserable Cities
http://www.forbes.com/2010/02/11/ame...s_slide_2.html
I'm really at where Memphis is. I mean, who wouldn't want to live there? What with all the corrupt "local" politicians, vagrants begging you if you dare go to Beale (anywhere downtown), high taxes, effed up school system and the worst basketball team in the NBA, not to mention the second highest crime rate in the entire U.S. Yeah, it's a real paradise
Here's the list (in case the link craps out):
1. Cleveland, OH
2. Stockton, CA
3. Memphis, TN
4. Detroit, Mich.
5. Flint, Mich.
6. Miami, FL
7. St. Louis, MO
8. Buffalo, NY
9. Canton, OH
10. Chicago, IL

I went to cleveland once to a football game about 10-12 years ago. It looked like Beruit. Doubt I'll ever go back. Been to Canton a few times and it looks pretty rough but it has the football hall of fame so IMO that's enough to keep it out of the top 10 in that list. Been through memphis a few times and that's the only place I've ever seen bars on the windows of a kentucky fried chicken.......no shit.
