Anyone see this movie yet?
Saw it tonight, i thought it kicked ass!
Definitely recommend seeing it.

Had to yell at some couple behind us to STFU tho haha

I agree Kyle it was Excellent.

I guess this was before my time but I never heard any of the real world stories that this movie was based on.

The law enforcement scandal alone must have been huge news back in the day...

According to the dates given by the movie, it was set between 21 to 17 years before you were born...

It was a great movie, best I 've seen in a while

the only historical inaccuracy that jumped out at me was the fact that you could see the RZA's Wu-Tang Tattoo in a scene or two. Kinda laughed at that.. you would think they would make him wear sleeves or edit it out

anyone else notice that?

I liked it, thought it was really good. But I saw the A&E documentary on the real Frank Lucas, and the guy was the biggest scum bag ever. The movie portrays him as a good guy....almost to the point that at the end when he gets caught, you feel bad for him. Seeing that it is Denzel Washington, a very liked actor, you have a tendency to want him to succeed in whatever he's doing. LOL....just an observation, but besides that Sweet Movie! A lot of Spontaneous Scenes!!

YEP.

I thought the movie was pretty good too. Though I did notice how long it was and to me, thats kind of bad. If I go see a movie thats long and I dont notice it, then its good. No brainer right? It is an indication that a movie that doesnt hide its length, will more than likely be boring the second time watching it.

I loved the ending and it was a pretty good surprise. Both Actors did a perfect job.

I thought he was a piece of shit throughout the movie. Smart man though...if the shit was accurate.
