All is good
Ice cold Shiner Bock.
Mama's Sunday Lunch.
Chicken Fried Steak. I mean she pounds out thin cut sirloin she has the butcher do for her custom. And her batter is off the hook. Been married to her since Obama was learning to color in his coloring book over in Africa somewhere.....and I still don't know how she makes it.
Fresh Green Beans from Farmers Market just picked off the vine this week. Mama puts some bacon in the pot and them sum bitches are good.
Big ass mess of home made mashed potatoes.
Her scratch Gravy all over everything.
Fried squash she makes her own batter for that also.
Hot Rolls with butter.
Big ol' salad.
Then she has made a big ol' Chocolate Pie with whip cream about a foot and half deep.
Then it will be nap time.

For dinner I made jerk chicken, corn on the cob, and my unique potato mix in foil:
Cut up 3 potatoes into bite size chunks, peel a whole garlic, distribute the cloves evenly. Scrub 3 carrots, cut in half and arrange along side the potato chunks. Add some basil, oregano, sage, and marjoram flakes. Cut up three stalks of celery, place on top. Add a handful of mushrooms cut in half and an onion, peeled and quartered. Cut the core out of a poblano pepper and quarter, place next to the carrots. Wrap the whole thing up and place on the grill. Cook 10 minutes and turn (so there's no burn) on three sides. Move the foil pack to the side.
Put the cut up and marinated chicken on the grill and turn every 5 minutes, adding a bit of jerk sauce each time you turn for a total of 25 minutes.
Cook the corn on the stove (or on the grill) while the chicken is cooking.
Yummy!Cheers,

didn't do much for dinner tonight. We had Chloe's b-day party today so it was pizza at her request. That's the rule...you get whatever you want to eat for dinner on your b-day. I did have a sammich earlier made from a beef roast I smoked trying out a home made rub I'm working on. I'm grilling tuna loin tomorrow I think.
