Aerosmith/Motley Crue

Well I just got through working their concert about six hours ago (it's 0719 here). I've got to honest:

Crue is NOT hitting on much.

They don't like the police, and that's fine, no harm done, but from where I was standing they sounded terrible. Vince Neil acts like he can't breath, and only sings about half the lyrics. Sound was mediocre. I know we won't be drinking buddies, but I really expected better than that. Seen them probably 7-8 times, and they seem to be going south.


Aerosmith was good, but short. They only played for about 1.5 hours. It was not enough. Pretty good sound though. They LOVE cops. Seen them maybe ten times and they seem to be solid and steady.

Go figure these two bands touring together. Probably about 16,000 there. Not many problems, and overall a good crowd just enjoying some tunes.

Just curious if others have seen them recently and what you thought.
