Yeap, I remember last year when some of the guys left, not your run of the mill types ( like me) but serious tech guys.. one guy had helped hundreds of members with custom cams, super guy, REALLY knew cams etc... head porting, all for free. They gave him and others such a hard time for helping he left.. That's about when I left..Couple of the other Mods moved on then too. Sorta knew this was coming..
That's really too bad.

Yea that place is amazing, full of morons, search doesnt work anymore, and they want money for any thing you ask. Let them leave, there being sued now so they deserve it. The main reason I would be on the tech is because of the mass amount of info on that forum, I could basically search like pamela anderson installing a camshaft, and a result would come up. I could search almost anything to find shit and now since the search does not work its fucking useless not to mention my trade rating is useless now to.

The way I understand it, they sold the site two years ago to IB. They had an agreement that they would stick around for two years. That two years is up and now they go and make another site and copy the database over on to it.

Sounds fishy to me if I was the one who just bought Tech.

And I have no hate for Tech whatsoever. I could really careless right now, LS!.com is still here.

They can legally start a new site..
They are being sued because the new owners. IB (internet brands) is claiming they swiped the database from Tech.
IF they did. Then yes, they deserved to be sued for internal theft..
If not, it sounds like more of the same from the new owners..part of the reason lots of guys left/are leaving the site..

According to them, the user database came from SSU which IB did not purchase. Anyone registered one Tech after March 2007 didnot not end up on the new site - can I say the name?
