Just kidding. It's unlikely but possible. They could have aimed for the back yard or something not to close to the house so the shockwave would destory the house on top of them (which would kill them) without turning them into vapors. They said they had guys on the ground around there for a quick plan B if needed so that could very well be the case.

And for the record it was 1000lbs of bombs, which is only 384lbs of explosive.

And if anyone cares, here is a pic of the kind of bombs dropped on him. All i've heard is it was two guided 500lb bombs so here is the most likey one we would have used. It's a laser guided 500 pounder. GBU-12.

Not really in this case. Not at least like you would imagine. He was not liked in Iraq or Egypt or Jordan or Kwuait. His indiscriminate killing of civillians, especially after the suicide bombing at the Jordanian wedding last year. CNN and even the BBC were showing footage of people in Iraq dancing in the street after the news broke there.
