80's rock/metal bands?
Trying to make a new mix, and I'm looking for some late 70s/80s rock/metal bands. Here's what I have so far.
Black Sabbath
AC/DC
Metallica
Aerosmith
Alice Cooper
Alice in Chains
Deep Purple
Def Leppard
Eric Clapton
Guns N' Roses
Led Zepplin
Motley Crew
Scorpions
Poison
Pantera
Ozzy Osbourne
Can you guys give me some suggestions on other bands to look at for music?

You've already covered the ones that come to mind immediately. I'll give it some thought and see if there are some others I can come up with.

Ooops...just thought of one...Iron Maiden.
Not sure if it's classified as metal but Pink Floyd, too.

Kids,
Alice Cooper started in the EARLY 70's
Deep Puple Started in the LATE 60's
Black Sabbath was Early 70's
Eric Clapton started in the 60's witht he Yardbirds!!!
Yes, they all did something in the 70's and 80s. NO, NONE of them are the cheese Hair bands.
I look at the 80's and only a few bands stand out as Musical and not CRAP!
Scorps, Metallica, Def ELppard (close though).
Also, in the mid to late 70s'
Richie Blackmore and Rainbow
Whitesnake
